Brasserie Pascal

Ate here 20/9/08 for my birthday lunch, with my mother and daughter......we ate around 2pm...the restaurant was not at all full except for outside....My daughter and I had the mussels, my mother the fishcake with chips....My mother wanted a glass of water without ice, I had a glass of house red, and my daughter ginger ale.....

What went wrong with the service today?? staff had faces as miserable as anything. from all.....the floor staff...they brought the water...with loads of ice in..when told it was wrong we were almost half way through the meal, before we could get the water without ice....

Fishcake with chips came without chips with salad? A long time after the mussels, if the food isn't ready together then it shouldn't leave the pass, as our mussels were nearly cold by the time the fishcake arrived!

What is sad that my daughter is in the trade and I have been involved with the trade in the past in France........if it is going to be a Brasserie, service must be

faster, prices lower, not so fancy and can everyone SMILE PLEASE....Nice food just so disappointing really.........:):) You are in the service industry SMILE.....please....

And noone came to ask if the meal was ok, or anything, also when asked for a 2nd glass of water - it was brought out in a broken jug and poured into my mother's glass....but the glass of water wasn't for her, but for me.....
