Indian Summer review by Francesca

Yummy scrummy!!

My partner and I fell upon Indian Summer one evening last month - it was approaching 10pm and we were so starving, we would have eaten the pebbles on Brighton beach if we hadn't found somewhere that would take us!

Tentatively we opened the door (thinking we might get nasty looks for daring to eat at that hour) only to be greeted by a lovely bubbly waitress who seemed only too happy to accommodate us. On informing her that it was our first visit, she proceeded to detail their best dishes and recommend her favourites.

I was very grateful for the 'limited' menu - each dish sounded so delicious, I really couldn't decided between them. I opted for a starter of Kand ki chaat and a main of Malai chhingri. My gosh, it was all delicious. The starter was very light and refreshing - just how a starter should be and the flavours in my main dish were very delicate.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised by Indian Summer and am excited about my second visit for Valentines day.
