The Grill at Lansdowne Place Hotel review by Anon

Spare yourself a headache and a huge hit to your wallet/purse. Don't stay here.

This is a hugely overpriced hotel, which, not content with charging extortionate rates for average-sized and equipped rooms, continues to shaft you by charging for parking and breakfast!

The car park (or underground grotto) costs 15 quid for a night, and a decidedly average breakfast cost us nearly thirty quid for two people. Seriously, folks - that is taking the proverbial, after we'd already paid handsomely for our room.

And not only is it a rip-off, this is the noisiest, creakiest, 'thinnest-walled-and-ceilinged' hotel I've ever stayed in. If you want a good night's kip, or just a bit of peace and quiet, forget it.

Don't fall for the decor and 'boutique hotel' tag. Steer well clear!
