Went today for lunch with my husband and two children. We hadn't been to Alfresco in over two years as we had been disappointed with the food and service. Two years have passed and I have to say it has not improved. The food is average, fairly good value if you have pizzas or pasta. The service was not particularly friendly and they also used the old trick of charging for service and then expecting us to leave a tip on their credit card machine. Overall, it just seems very tired, tacky and mediocre and the shame of it is, it could be a fantastic dining venue with its view and location.
