The Gourmet Fish and Chip Company review by R Lampen

This restaurant has certainly changed hands and we were left totally disappointed not to mention hungry.

We opted for haddock and chips and I had to leave the majority on my plate. The batter was hard and tasted acrid like the fat needed changing, the haddock was tough at the ends from over frying and the chips were a very poor aunt bessies on a bad day. The most laughable thing was charging us 95p for a tablespoon of peas presented in a white dish complete with it's own microwaved water at the bottom.

One word to sum up the whole experience from the sauces to the drinks was CHEAP, the bill however was not and came to £22.35.
