Agra Brasserie review by James Jephcott
The best place to start is the service - absolutely immaculate; friendly without being too familiar, attentive without being needy. Similarly the decor is smart and understated, stamping it's brasserie credentials on the place.
We skipped starters and went staright to 3 main dishes - chicken peri peri, chicken caldon and a mixed tandooria grill. Two of the three were great, unfortunately the third contained raw chicken! Not even undercooked, but raw. As everythign else had been so good up until then we asked only that the dish featuring the raw chicken be removed from the bill. The counter offer was the cost of half the dish. We accepted but left with a very bad taste in our mouths. We shan't be returning, and would advise caution if ordering chicken, especially the tandoori chicken.
