I now know why the Buddha is little - hunger.

We ordered online through eatnowbrighton.co.uk and got three phone calls because the driver was lost. This is even more unimpressive since the restaurant is about a three minute walk away.

The food was luke warm. We ordered: 2 x Pad-Ka-Pao (Chilli Sauce Dish), Khow-Plaw (Steamed Rice), Peek-Kai-Tod (Chicken Wings)

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET THE CHICKEN WINGS! Three tiny pieces of bone. Half of the container has some deep-fried unidentifiable vegetables so that they could maximise their £4.

The Pad-Ka-Pao didn't taste awful, but were watery and full of limp vegetables and curled up bits of bland. Also, each dish was about £6 and you got about a third of what you would if you were to order an equivalent dish from an Indian.

Basically, we ordered a small amount of low-quality food for £18.

I love Thai food, but this was horrendous. It took the delivery man ages to find our place, even though it was very close to the restaurant and on a main, well lit street, so the food was somewhat cold by the time it got to us. The portions were tiny for what they charged and they used far, far too many onions. They were also both very watery even though there were not curries, and Thai non-curries are rarely liquid at all. Also, the chicken wings seemed to include seafood even though it didn't state that anywhere.

It is a pity as I'd love a good Thai takeaway in Brighton, but I think I will be sticking with sit down restaurants unless somewhere new and good pops up.

Came in here recently, food was ok, service was ok, but there was a big group next to us. Had our meal, then we got the bill... Anyone that knows 7 dials may know there is a big board outside saying "buy one get one free main courses 7 days a week". On a busy Friday night, which this was, the sign had vanished and we were being charged full price for the meals. When we confronted the waiter about this, he argued that the offer hadn't been run for a couple of months, even though my friend who walks past it every day had seen it there the day before and was also back outside on the following Monday. It left a bitter taste in the mouth. So if you're going to run a 7 day a week offer, don't decide when you're going to honour it.

Was really disapointed with the food.I gueess if you are a student or want a cheap night out then this place might suit (You could probably get a job there as a chef if you went more than once). All in all there are many better places to eat thai in Brighton and i cant think of any that are worse,so use the guide and avoid dissapointment.

I had a good feeling about this restaurant as I walked past it, so my boyfriend took me there one Saturday night recently. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff immediately friendly and accommodating. When we ordered we asked the waiter for his recommendations which turned out good. The seafood dish with mussels and prawns was amazing and the Tom Yam soup, detoxing. Also the service was quick. I will definitely return and take a bottle of wine next time, though there house white (Vin de pays) was top quality!

Probably the worst thai i have ever eaten.Only bother to eat here if you know nothing about how thai food should taste.

I've eaten here a few times; mainly on occasions when I met up with a few friends. OK, it's a no thrills restaurant which is the best thing about it. The atmosphere is "nice" - maybe not the best for a really romantic setting but absolutely fine for meeting up as a group. It's acually quite cosy. The service is has always been very good when I've been; friendly and will have a bit of a laugh with you. The food is also very good; not the best I've ever had but for the price it's fantastic. The icing on the cake....no...the cherry, on the icing on the cake is the fact that you can bring your own drink (they'll chill it and open it for you too). I hate spending loads on exorbitant wine when you could get it in the supermarket for 1/2 the price and you knows it's going to taste good.

All in all, a great restaurant!

For a student like me this restaurant is fantastic as we all bring our own wine and any other drinks we want to, which we love. I always have the plain noodles with tofu and soup with tofu. Being a vegan its a delight to find that most of the dishes can be altered to my needs.

Hopefully we will be booking our chistmas party here!

I had a take out from the little buddha last week and i must say the food was very good, better than some posh thai restaurants in brighton. The spicy prawn crackers are lovely but very hot! and also the three falvoured fish was good. Little buddha is a nice little gem, tucked away on dyke road. Will eat in the restaurant next time.

I went to little buddha last night, and i thought food was excellent, service was good, and it's value for money, best thing is, it's bring your own bottle, the atmosphere was great too. Loved it, will be going back soon.
