Fresh, tasty food, lovely atmosphere and decor and a fab wine list to go with all those great dishes.

I have been many times since it opened and also with large groups - if you are looking for a great indian restaurant with a unique feel ...

Fantastic night out in a chic new indian restarant. Amazing food and lovely service. Complements to the chef, who seems to make a number of mouth watering indian dishes. Can't wait to go back.

I was looking for an Indian restaurant with a touch of class to take a group of friends on a Friday night. Agra Brasserie was the perfect find - a stylish but relaxed atmosphere with a menu as contemporary and fresh as the surrounding décor.

This is not your run-of-the-mill, bog standard Indian – but the classic favourites are still there.

We sent compliments to the chef for an inventive, flavoursome feast and the service was more welcoming than anywhere I’ve been in Brighton.

It won’t cost you a fortune either…. you’d be mad not to try it!

I went here after reading the other very positive reviews. I can only say I agree fully with them. I went alone on a weekday evening and was made to feel like a valued regular even though I had never been before and they didn't know me from Adam lots of polite interest in me. Indeed if there was a criticism it was that the service was *over* attentive since I had several waiters waiting on me! - though I put that down to a lack of other clients on a slow weeknight.

The Agra is beautifully furnished very modern, not a hint of flock wallpaper, very swish. The food was delivered very promptly indeed.

The range of food was great with some original dishes I've not seen elsewhere. The portions were a good size and the textures and flavouring were, to my inexpert palatte, good but not exceptional. The dish I had was not as hot as as the three chilli rating indicated. I enjoyed every morsel.

The prices were on the low to medium size: £25 with several beers and no starter, but with side dishes. I could have spent significantly less.

Yhoroughly recommended - a great Indian.

Went for a meal following seeing a show at the Brighton centre. Staff are always really helpful and polite. Service was great, all the food was of first class standard and delivered hot to the table. Sat and chatted to the owner. One of the best Indians in the Brighton area , you must try it some time.

A fantastic homey retreat offering authentic Indian cuisine and cosy ambience, while managing to avoid those regularly-found elements of trash. Extremely friendly and efficient staff, food fabulously fresh, and a pleasant environment accommodating a busy atmosphere without overwhelming your personal space. great all-rounder!
