Have been in here often for a quick drink but never ate before. Ate here recently and really enjoyed the experience. We sat out on the balcony looking over the boats and had some really lovely food - excellent value for money.

I have to say that most times i have been here the staff were a bit useless - generally uninterested and didnt seem to care about good service. It usually seems to be the same few people that work when im there and they never seem to improve! But this time we were served by a really lovely barmaid who was friendly and polite and didnt mind chatting to us about the products (and she even seemed to know what she was talking about) Not sure why we hadnt seen her there before as she said she had been working htere almost 2 years, but i would definatley have visited more often if the service was always as good!

I can't understand how the West Quay can be classified as a Modern European restaurant. Its a Lloyds chain pub - great for a quick drink, but there are much better places to eat on the Marina....

September 2007

Food was horrible,we took family there who had come over from America,we didnt bother to complain as it would have been embarrassing for our family,

there was 12 of us.

The food was cold and most of us left it, it wouldnt happen in America, they need to sort themselves out.

We dined at this restaurant on new years eve, and i thought the food was fantastic, although not suitable for young children.
