I recently went to Jade's for the first time and was really impressed. The service is excellent, the food is top quality (which is unusual for an all you can eat venue), the portion sizes were spot on and there was a lovely atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone and have been recommending it to everyone I know : )

We quite agree with all that has been said and,as regulars, would point out that prices have increased slightly with inflation. A great evening out! Maurice & Nancy

Recently my husband and Myself visited the restaurant my daughter and boyfriend have been 'raving' about for ages now as an excellent place to eat and I have to say that although i we have been to many chinese buffet type restaurants, this is by far the nicest. The food was absolutely delicious, served hot and quickly. Everything we tasted was a great experience, especially the starter of duck in hoi sin sauce, that was my favourite it was crunchy like the crispy duck but had a lovely flavour. The four of us liked the starter platter so much that we ordered the same again and then we had little room left for the main courses! But we ordered a few of the special dishes that we like and finished off with a nice coffee.
I was most impressed and cant wait to visit again. I ahve recommended it to many friends this week and am sure that they will as we did, enjoy a great evening ,unhurried ,in very nice surroundings and with patient helpful staff.
Extremely good value for money, outshining the other restaurants of this type in the area by far.

I have been going to Jade since it opened and have written reviews of it before. However, when I went on saturday, I discovered they do a 'veggie duck' which is made out of soya/ tofu I think but looks exactly like real duck! This made it an even better restaurant than it already is as now I can join in on the duck course as well. I just wish I'd discovered this earlier!

My wife and I have been regulars here now for over 2 years and find it difficult to go a whole week without visiting. The food is excellent, the staff are very polite, efficient and professional. The decor is of a high standard which we have found to be unique to the area. All of this and it is at a very reasonable price with alcohol cheaper than pub prices.
The best by far.

I was recomended Jade by a friend and will definatley be returning. The food was really good and the price also at £13 all you can eat at the weekend, cheaper in the week. The place was busy and there was a good atmosphere. The service could of been a bit better but overall a great place.

This restaurant changed hands some time ago and is now called Jade. The price for food is fixed - roughly £9.00 a head Mon - Thurs and £13.00 a head Fri - Sun, plus service charge. For this you can order from a menu with over 120 different dishes! Although this would normally put me off, after the initial trepidatious visit, we have eaten there many times and have always had good value for money. They buy in the crispy duck, which is a breast and tender but not very crispy, but make up for it up on other dishes, some of which I've not seen elsewhere, i.e. salt & pepper green beans, a starter which is like crispy chilli beef but made with duck and hoi sin sauce. The staff are very friendly, always make you welcome, and as long as you don't take the mickey and eat the food, you can order as many dishes as you want. We took our friend for a surprise 50th on Saturday. The staff told me to leave the decorations I had bought (balloons etc)and they decorated the table and surrounding area for us. The eight of us had a wonderful time, and the food was simply scrummy. Special mention for spare rib starter in honey and soy, beautifully tender and full of flavour. Thoroughly recommended.
