We had dinner at Leonardo last night ans it was absolutely delicious. We were a little concerned because we looked at the review on this site. I have to say that whoever wrote those review must be someone who hasn't even eaten at Leonardo. I had the scallops wrapped with pancetta and topped with quail eggs and it was delicious. 3 scallops and not one. After I had venison and that was perfect too. My wife had courgettes flower to start which was amazing and after linguine lobster a dish highly recommended. All I can say is don't listen to mambo jumbo...........try for your self.

We ate at Leonardos tonight and were genuinely disappointed in the quality of the food.

We had scallops in bacon to start with - about 1 scallop between both of us (not good at £7.95 each). With regards to the main course the lasagne was OK, not groundbreaking (and I would be very suprised if the pasta was homemade) and the seafood linguine was badly prepared - the mussells were all a bit on the green side and the squid did not even have their beaks removed. Even the side salad was poor - how can you fail on that, and I didn't mention the hair that adorned it.

I couldn't remember past experiences in this restaurant but this time I am pretty certain that I won't be going back.

I am also a little concerned that there are no comments on the restaurants website since 2002 - seems like a long time with no feedback.

We have been here twice and the last was an absolute nightmare. We were entertaining friends and decided to pop in here. It was a disiaster from start to finish. First the waiter brought out three dishes when there was obviously four of us and didnt acknowledge the fact until we had to complain. My girlfriend chased them again for her lasagne and by this time the other three of us had finished our meals. When the lasagne eventually came (a full 20 minutes after we'd received ours) we had to complain again as it wasn't cooked through and was stone cold in the middle. She eventually ordered pasta which was quite nice but we shall not be returning here again.
