Otello

Fantastic food and wines. Excellent service, staff were extremely friendly which made our evening enjoyable and relaxing, the atmosphere was fantastic as they had live music! I noticed the management would not turn down late comers, instead they were welcomed with a friendly smile even as late as 11.30! Otello's is the best Italian restaurant i have dined in Hove,I would certainly go back again as it was very reasonable priced and the food was so fresh and original. In all the restaurants i have been to I wouldnt say any of them have been as unique as Otello's was. The excellent service and warm welcome from the manager was a real delight! I would deffinitely reccomend it!

i enjoyed a lovely christmas day lunch at Otello's. excellent value for money, it was only £37.95 for a 3 course set menue, the food was fresh and delicious! the service was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff and a very good management who looked after us very well,specially as it was on xmas day, i would deffinitely go back there again and i would reccomend it to everyone as it is suitable for all ages and tastes. fantastic food, service and value for money. they made our christmas memorable and i will go back for next xmas day aswell!!

i enjoyed an excellent christmas day lunch at otello's. service was excellent! it was great value for money specially being on xmas day set menue was only £37.95 which was well worth as food was fresh and delicious. very friendly staff and excellent management, i noticed how clean the restaurant was and it was a pleasure to dine there. i would reccomend Otello's to everyone, for all ages! i would deffinitely go back especially for xmas day! fantastic food, service and prices!!

Went there last week (22/Sep/06) and it was quite OK. There were 4 of us and we ordered pasta and pizza. Nothing special about the food (ie, it wasn't fantastic but wan't bad either.) at least they are reasonable priced.

Service was OK too, the waiters aren't the most well-mannred people there and sometimes they made you feel they weren't listening because they were looking elsewhere when you are ordering, but at least they didn't made mistake and they do try to smile when they remembered so.

Would I visit again? Well...I might go there again since it only few minutes down the road, but I don't think I will miss the restaurant if I moved away from the area.

All the times I have dinned at Otello, the sevice has been fantastic and food superbly presented.

Its always best to book if you would like a table on a friday evening or a weekend as i can get very busy.

In my opinion its the best italian restaurant that i have eaten in, in a long time!

Excellent food and wine, great service and great prices. Go early in the evening because it does get a bit busy.
