Barney's

Loved it! Popped in to have a look and ended up staying for hours! Love the fact its table serve and the staff are friendly and chatty. Had a bit of a wait on the (first!) bottle of wine but nothing to complain about. Very impreesed with value for money and service, would reccommend it! =-)

They used to serve Eggs Benedict with crispy bacon, but now they don’t (since Sunday the 23 of July 2006) It was my favourite Sunday breakfast, so now I have to think about different place :(((((((((

I found the service and food excellent, but as a wheelchair user I found the layout very wheelchair unfriendly and the disabled toilet is unable to take a wheelchair, so found that my overall impression was tainted by the poor layout.

Barney's is amazing!I've been for breakfast and dinner and both times the staff were friendly, the food was deliscious and the atmoshere was great!Go for breakfast and sit outside in the sun or alternatively go one evening when there is live music. It was much better value for money than in Brighton too.

This is a good place for brunch - nice venue, big windows, decent seating and quick service, with pretty good coffees, all-day breakfasts and "modern European" dishes. Or you can go for the roasts on Sundays, but get there early since they usually sell out! Not a pricey gaff either. So far so good, but on both of my recent visits there were tablefuls of shouty idiots nearby who rather spoiled things.... this seems to happen a lot in Brighton.
