Limited menu with a rather high rate of unavailability of items. Food was good but service was rubbish. Rubbish atmosphere.

Overpriced pub food, pretentious atmosphere. Very quiet on the Saturday night i visited. Fortunately i was with a big group as we were one of only two tables dining. Disapointing

We stayed at the Old ship a few years back and were famished so decided to eat in at the hotels own restaurant, Redz. We weren't expecting much, as hotel cuisine isn't normally anything special but this really was! I had peri peri chicken which was perfectly flavoured (before i was a veggie) and my boyf had steak perfectly cooked served with giant cut chips. The food was reasonable compared to the obviously high standard chef they must keep but unfortunatly its often very quiet there. Waiters/waitresses very friendly too.
