Went their for lunch in search of the perfect Amercian burger. It was just OK, quick to order, quick to arrive, simply put together, tasted not bad, but ordinary. Overall, probably over-priced.

Reasonably priced, quality grub in warm surroundings – nice and simple, just how we like it! The drinks were also great with an extensive wine list that wasn't too expensive.

Have just eaten at Ma Potters, and I can't disagree more with the last comment on the website (think he may need to check his spelling on a few words too!) Everything was perfect, went for Mothers Day, and it was just what Iwanted, service was friendly and quick, food fab and price quite reasonable.

Breakfast was amussing, it took 30 minutes to get our food, and a further 30 minutes to get our drinks, being 4 hot (cold)chocolates! During that period, 8 couples walked out as they where ignored whilst waiting to be seated, the staff walked past them but said nothing. Terence one of the waitors who the manager asked to leave, was the most helpful of all, he calmed down a few angry clients. When we had enough of being ignored we stood by the counter hoping someone would give us the bill, although at that stage we where ready to walk out as it was obvious no one wanted our money. Terence again came to the rescue, upon stating we did not want to pay the service charge (what service) Terence asked the Manager on duty to take the fee of. The Manager walked to the till, took the service fee of 2.97 from a bill of 30.37 this was reduced to around 23 GBP odd. He did not ackowledge us in any shape of form, the poor waiter Terence was stuck with us and the other angry mob waiting behind us who also got in que to pay and leave. I think the Managerial position should have been reversed and instead of the manager asking Terence to leave, he should have left for the day, this was also done in front of the restuarant. In conclusion as above - extremely amussing few hours.
