I go here for lunch sometimes, as there are no other veggie options in this part of Hove. Food is usually very good, although the reliance of quiche and salads, usually at £6/7+ means it’s not the cheapest place to grab a quick lunch and the menu is rather samey. Very attractive building, the leather seats and chairs in the upstairs room look more comfortable than they are, I can never manage to dwell very long. The reliance on big tables means most people wander around trying to sit alone, or sit shuffling away from each other. Trying to look cooler than it is, much like the staff who all seem to devote more energy to ensuring they look suitably ‘hippy’ than actually being friendly, and I always feel they’re not really bothered. Not an inspiring place, but if you work in the area and are veggie, it’s alright.

Beautiful healthy food and a fun venue below, this is brighton cuisine at its best!

We were recommended this place and had a lovely healthy breakfast (although enormous!). Service was excellent. Very baby friendly with toys in a box to play with.

I love this place. The portions are usually huge and the salads expecially fantasitic. Only drawback is be careful of sitting upstairs on Sunday lunchtime as you may find yourself amongst right-on parents oblivious to their badly behaved, noisy children.

Oh yes, and the young staff are wonderfully dozy. If you are a member of the Duke of Yorks cinema you get a 10% discount - which usually throws them. Last time I got 20% knocked off. Hurrah for Blair's education policies!!
