Pizza Express

I have not been to Pizza Express for quite a while, I didn't have a great experience in a London Branch a while back, but we visited the Brighton branch in the laines last week and had a fantastic experience.
Very clean, friendly staff and great food, what more could you ask. My faith in Pizza Express has been well and truly restored. Well Done.

The Pizza Express in the North Laineish area, near the Dome is quite disappointing for food and service - except the lovely Gelato.
The one in the Lanes however, is much better. Pizzas made with care, service polite and attentive. Doughballs always come piping hot with plenty of butter! Well worth the stroll to the Lanes if you're nearer the other one and really fancy it.

What a fantastic experience all round, food excellent, great ambience, staff very friendly. I chatted to the Restaurant Manager for a while, who said he had only been there for about 5 months, well I think he is doing a fantastic job, I will be back with all my friends.

With 2-for-1 vouchers from the Argus we decided to go for a 'cheap' meal. The pizzas were okay, starter of cured meats and toast nice, but even with two free meals the bill was expensive.
Made me more resolute to only go to La Caprianna when I'm in need of an italian fix - amazing food for same price. Understand that this is a chain - but its not for the discerning diner.

Comfortable atmosphere, welcoming staff and reliably good food. It's always my first choice when I come back to Brighton every year to see my friends.
