Went with a friend late after a concert.

No major complaints about the place or the service.

The wine was dull and ordinary and so was the food. I had a Calzone - stodgy dough with an uninspiring filling which I could have made a lot better at home.

I went to eat at ask ASK in Brighton yesterday and I LOVED it. The outside seating area in the garden is a real plus and the outdoor heaters allow you to sit outside till late at night. The food was amazing and the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. I cannot wait to go again! Highly recommended!!!!

Service was very lacking felt like some of the staff had just turned up for their first day at work, maybe after a bit of training ? apart from that food was actually ok and was a nice enough place.

I tend to feel a bit guilty about liking this chain restaurant but it's attractive, friendly and reasonably priced. The pizzas are perhaps not 10/10 but they're very good. Service when we've been there has been friendly. Not a gourmet experience perhaps but it's an attractive fiendly restaurant with decent food and would be good for families, couples and groups. Thinking about it I'm not sure why I feel guilty liking it at all!!

Ask has the perfect combination of lovely food and a great atmosphere. It is always hard to choose what to eat because everything sounds so appealing. In the evening it is warm and comfortable with relaxing music and low lights and in the day time the restaurant is light and airy. The staff are friendly. From birthday meals with friends to a quiet dinner Ask is the ideal restaurant.
