I come here with my little boy sometimes for a quick, cheap pizza as it's close to the swimming pool and very convenient on our way home after his swimming lessons. I know I'm not going to get top quality food and service for the price, but I don't expect to be treated the way we were on our last visit.

Food was awful, tasteless and service was very poor. After waiting for ages, the food eventually arrived and my husband had chewing gum stuck to his plate. Not wanting to make a fuss as we were with a large group, he queried this with the old man in charge when paying the bill. He was told in a rude, abrupt manner that is wasn't the restaurant's fault there was gum on his plate, it had probably been stuck there by another diner. Charming. Imagine what's going on in the kitchen if that's what's happening in the restaurant. What a terrible way to treat your customers. We will not be returning. Again proving that you get what you pay for.

Yet another Brighton restaurant serving sub standard food and treating customers in an unacceptable manner. They clearly don't care much for customer loyalty.

Pinocchios is what it is, cheap and cheerful. You don't go here expecting haute cuisine. I went last Friday with a group of friends, the atmosphere was fine, if the table next to us was a little to close. The food is ok, not stunning but edible. Come here for a cheap meal.

We are regular visitors to Brighton and often go to Pinocchios to eat. The food is always great and the service is usually good even when the restaurant is busy. On our last visit the atmosphere was fantastic - really buzzing - like Italian restaurants used to be. Theres a new older guy in charge and is making a big difference. He introduced himself as Peter and checked we were happy with our food and the service.

He has changed the place from being an average Italian restaurant to probably the best pizzeria in Brighton. Keep up the good work.

We recently ate at Pinocchio and have to say it was poor. The waiter that greeted and seated us was miserable, the service was basic and the food was average. Honestly you could get a similar quality pizza from the frozed section at the supermarket.

It is relatively cheap, which is why it is busy and often full of children, so don't go if you are looking for a relaxing dining experience, or quality italian food. It's a conveyor belt for people on a budget.

When I asked about the ingredients in my tasteless carbonara sauce it was amiably explained that they don't make it themselves, so no fresh bacon (though the sauce used processed ham anyway), & no fresh cream or eggs. That explains everything. It took me two or three mouthfuls before I realized that it was inedible & sent it back, but was still given the full bill.

Their menu might cater to a child's palate, but adults should think twice before booking.

Good service in a restaurant which unashamedly serves packet food.
