I went here the other day for lunch with my boyfriend and we were impressed. It's a cozy, friendly place with good italian food and drink, we particulaly enjoyed the desserts! i recomend the tiramisu! :-)

The food is mediocre,standard cheap Italian fare - typical pizza/pasta dishes with little imagination and boring salads. The service varies but is usually adequate.

However its cheap,lively and accessible and represents good value. Of its type I thinks its better value than many other Italian restaurants in this town and there is no feeling of being ripped off. What you see is what you get.

We have regularly visited Pinocchio's for over four years and have never had bad service or a bad meal. The food is always fantastic, the waiting staff friendly and although it can get busy, you are never hurried to finish your meal. The set menu is amazing value for money.

Try this place and you will keep coming back!

i went here for a meal with a friend on a Thursday night. normally weeknights at Italians can be a bit slow but the atmosphere was quite enjoyable.

the food was great and we both had nice meals! its was easy to eat vegetarian there and my friend enjoyed the meat.

the portions are huge and its definitely worth a visit!

I love Pinocchio and would recommend it to anyone.

My family eat here quite regularly and the manager is a lovely guy and can't do enough for us.

We get served quickly and the food is always fantastic!

The staff at Pinocchio have always been very friendly and helpful when I've eaten there, to the extent that when we had a 31st party with a Harry Potter cake they brought it in singing and riding brooms. A nice touch!

Only word of warning is big parties are seated upstairs which can get very noisy so if you're four or less people try to make sure you're sitting downstairs.Also avoid the crowd rushing to eat before going to the Theatre Royal - usually before 7.45pm.

We had an excellent pre-theatre lunch here and found the food of excellent quality. Although the restaurant was full the service was very fast and we were served within minutes by an attentive and friendly waitress.

All this and at very reasonable prices.
