In my opinion Fat leo's isnt what it used to be, used to go here quite a bit with friends and was always a great experience, however, its become more of a place for families and so has lost its casual feel to it for me. Menu seems to usual for me. Pizza is pizza and pasta is pasta, nothing special for this Italian restaurant. Can still be nice for an evening out. Place has been done up more since I used to go and so can get quite noisy. Service as always, remains very friendly and with out a doubt will always sing happy birthday for you on request.

went here last year and had good deal for 3 courses something like £7. Went with 3 other friends. We thought we were in for a good deal. However all of our food was drowned in cheese (all my courses apart from dessert were and all tasted the same!). Im a vegetarian and I didn't have much else apart from cheese, but so did my other friends. So anyone wanting a heart attack or a died hard cheese lover definetely the place to go to. However the service was pretty good. And suppose is good on a tight budget.

If you want a Michelin starred restaurant - don't got to Fat Leos, however if you're looking for excellent value for money, you can't go far wrong. We went there today, my wife a daughter had Advocado, mozerrella and tomato starter - it would have cost us nearly £2 to make at home! They both described their pizzas as OK - that's not to say they were the best that they'd ever eaten or the worse - they were fine. I had an aubergine in tomato sauce starter which again I'd say was OK. My seafood spagetti was also good. For £5.95 for two course they were excellent and very filling - so much so that I didn't need to eat this evening. For sure, there probably are much better places, but at this price you'll be hard-pressed to beat it. The staff were also very attentive and Italian, something that cannot be said for Fat Leo's older brother, Donatello. 10 out of 10 !!

been here twice now in the day on a saturday. amazing value for money and great food. two courses for 5.95, stupidly good value considering some of the pizzas on the main course are more than that! had the mussels for starter and proscuttio al funghi pizza for main, separately these would come to around £11 altogether but obviously just 5.95 with the meal deal. mussels very tasty in lovely white wine sauce, pizza was awesome. have been to italy almost every summer for last 5 or 6 years and the pizzas here were very very similar to the style of taste of pizza's from all around italy, highly recommended in the day time, or even night time when its 7.95. although service was a little slow with starters, service was very friendly, drinks nicely priced and the main meals were delivered 5-10 min after finished starter. great time had all round.

This restaurant is one of the best i have visited. The value for money is brilliant, and the food tastes great. The great thing I find about this place is the atmosphere. There could be a group of young people, a family, a couple, this all adds to the atmosphere to this great place. The staff are really on the ball and friendly. I have been here many many times and never had a problem, this is well worth a visit!!!!

Although on a busy bank holiday Monday with the restaurant nearly full we still managed to get a table for two. The staff were friendly and coped well, and we did not have to wait long for our order to be placed or the food to arrive.
The pizzas were excellent, even the glass of house red was acceptable, the side salad was a bit dull and was washed with balsamic vinegar instead of a vinigarette, I shall choose a more deluxe salad next time. It is quite a noisy place but that may be partly due to the all stone floor.
The meal came to about £21.50 for 2 pizzas, garlic bread, salad, glass of red and a cranberry juice.
I would certainly go again, but I will try some of the other restaurants as well.

I have dined in the finest restaurants in my time. Many on the top 50 lists. I came across FATleo when strolling in the lanes.
The food is fantastic Value for money. Although you have to bypass the decor and noisy atmosphere! I have the same thing time and time again in there and it maintains its high standard. The service is friendly and fast and you will not be dissappointed! I recommend the set menu £7.95 for two courses. They cater for large parties maintaining the same standard regardless of size. Go see for yourself!
