I have dined in the finest restaurants in my time. Many on the top 50 lists. I came across FATleo when strolling in the lanes.
The food is fantastic Value for money. Although you have to bypass the decor and noisy atmosphere! I have the same thing time and time again in there and it maintains its high standard. The service is friendly and fast and you will not be dissappointed! I recommend the set menu £7.95 for two courses. They cater for large parties maintaining the same standard regardless of size. Go see for yourself!

went for an Christmas meal with a few friends, we weren't a big group but the staff seemed to struggle with remembering all out orders! not a problem as the starters were really nice and the atmosphere was average. However when our mains finally arrived I could bath in the amount of grease on my plate!
Don't go here if you want an enjoyable evening!

Went to Fatleo last night for a meal. It all looked good from the front and not busy. However the service was very poor, 20 minutes for the starter and again for main course & that was only after making it obvious we were waiting.
The main courses selected of polla al marsala & monkfish were appalling. The chicken was only just cooked and overwhelmed by the watery 'sauce' The monkfish faired no better, swimming in its watery tomato sauce.
As a result of the poor service, I asked for the added 10% service charge to be removed. The waitress did not ask why !!, but indicated that this could not be removed, despite this being discretionary !? Eventually we settled on 10% being removed from the total bill just to get out of there.
It will not be visited again and would advise anyone else to keep away as well.
