OK, so they’re not the cheapest place in town. Expect to spend about £45 for a meal for two with drinks. But you can’t fault the quality. The menu is well put together, with all the usual suspects, plus more than a few interesting variations. A very good range of dishes, and plenty of choice, though not a lot for vegetarians. The service is friendly, and attentive. Can be a bit noisy when busy, but not the type of ‘curry house’ to attract Hen Parties and loutish lads. Overall, worth the money. The delivery service is the best I have found in Brighton, fast, well packaged, and decent portion sizes. I don’t know where the other reviewer ate, but I heartily disagree with everything they said.

An absolute horrific experience. Only name no substance. Overpriced, awful taste, egregious customer service (only few waiters around were approachable). They behave as if you want to complain, you better leave immediately. Although I was really exasperated and uttered everything to a waiter, but I am sure they'll never change. Go at your own risk. I am never going again. Absolute disgrace.

Went to the Ashoka last week,been going for years.This time rude rude rude.Agressive.Overpriced and looked and tasted like a jar of curry sauce.had 3 beers 15 quid.Will never go back.shocking.Do not go there.

Dreadful restaurant. Stuck in the 1970s with bland food. Waiters were very reluctant to accommodate our request for more spice....and there was no atmosphere (at 8.30am on a Sat eve). Really wouldn't recommend it, very disappointing....and WAY overpriced!
