The Tin Drum - Seven Dials

Busy and bustling but always happy to help. Food is fairly simple and can sometimes fail (rock-hard cheesecake anyone?) but sometimes is great (smoked haddock on rosti with a poached egg -delicious). Reasonably priced and you can stay there late.

Good atmosphere, nice drinks, a bit expensive for drinks. Food ok, a bit like pub food.

I visited the Tin Drum for the first time last weekend on recommendation from a friend. Absolutely fantastic time with some superb staff who couldn't do enough to ensure we had a excellent time. Keep up the good work Tin Drum!!

I love the Tin Drum at the Dials, and go there frequently, usually in the evenings, sometimes to eat, more often to meet friends and enjoy a few drinks.
The service is always good, and I like the fact that you can order from the bar or have table service; no pretentions here. The wine list is strong, the beer served at eactly the right temperature, and the food is always appetising and reasonably priced.
Highly recommended, with a very relaxed 'do your own thing' atmosphere. I'd recommend trying it 'off peak', as when full it can be a bit overwhelming.

We love the Tin Drums in general, and the food is no exception to the others in this restaurant. Very well cooked and presented, with imagination, and balance in the flavours. House wines are very acceptable. The actual restaurant space lacks intimacy, except where smoke is concerned - being on one floor, the smokers managed to share their aroma with us! Not cosy enough for a romantic date, but the food is really rather good!
