Greg, you were obviously not in the same restaurant as we've just visited. Having visiting Indonesia many times (and not just the tourist spots) we found the food to be both authentic and tasty. Service was likewise very good and I'd struggle to fault them on anything.

This restaurant was poor. Service inattentive and the food bland.. There are plenty of other better restaurants in Brighton than this one. Avoid.

A welcoming place with friendly and considerate service, as well as delicious food.

I dropped my knife and it was immediately noticed and replaced. This is the kind of detail you find only in a place where the guests come first.

Highly recommended!

We have eaten here twice now, both times the food was outstanding. We shared the beef stew, lamb and special fried noodles. I couldnt stop thinking about the food afterwards and we soon returned for another lunch visit. The best Indonesian food I have EVER had! Not bad priced either especially if you go for the set lunch, outstanding value. My only concern would be it was quite cold in the restaurant and there was no ambience, which would be fixed easily by some music! But friendly very sweet waiteress, and we will certainly return!

I have eaten here twice and both times the food was outstanding. There is a very good value set lunch menu which was about £6 for 2 courses and £8 for 3. We went A La Carte and shared beef stew, lamb and noodles. I couldnt stop thinking about it for days after and we soon returned for another visit. My only concern would be that is was quite cold in the restaurant and there was no music. It would benefit greatly from music to increase the ambience. However, the waitress was lovely I will certainly return! The best Indonesian food I have had!

Nice food for very reasonable prices. We had the beef rendang, kangkung tumis and their special of the day soto ayam. The beef was perfect, tasty and tender and very authentic. The kangkung was spicy but not overly so. The soto ayam was soup with chicken and vermicelli and various spices in the stock which was beautifully cooked. The soup was full of flavours. All in all a very good experience.
