This resturant came recommended by a friend and I must say they were right to recommend it as will I. The food was great and the service was very friendly and welcoming. There was four of us and we all throughly enjoyed it and will no doubt return.

This place is like something from Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. Having arrived at around 8:30pm - we were eventually served the main course one and a half hours later, even though we were the only people in the restaurant (this in itself set alarm bells ringing given it was a Friday night).

The "food" (as it can loosely be described) was awful. Luckily we decided to skip the starters, although the French bread we were served with olives was stale. For main course I ordered the duck which consisted mainly of fat swimming in lashings of Bisto gravy. My friend had the fillet steak which tasted as it had been cooked in the same pan as another friend's main course (ie liver). After voicing our complaints we were refunded the full cost of 4 meals. The waitress was very apologetic, and also seemed embarrassed by the poor quality of food herself.

After receiving a delicious meal the first time round, me and my boyfriend were looking forward to another visit a few months later - only to be extremely disappointed! The service was very slow and we were eventually crammed on a tiny table between all other customers - allthough the place wasn't full and there was enough space to spread everyone out and obtain some kind of privacy dining. After taking over 30 mins to take our order (I repeat the restaurant was not even half full!) we were served our main course whilst our starter plate was taken away. Personally I like it when restaurants give you a few minutes breathing space before serving the next course! However my boyfriends plate was cold and my beef was served with still frozen spinach! When we send them back, my fillet beef returned without any vegetables at all and my boyfriends beef was nearly burnt. The waiter looked annoyed with us, like we were an inconvenience! Too scared to complain in case they would spit on our food (trust me I've seen what happens behind the scenes - I've worked in the industry myself) we finished the meal and never left a restaurant so quickly and disappointed. This time the food was highly overpriced, the service very unprofessional and the atmosphere in the restaurant loud and uncosy... Although it is only around the corner we will certainly won't be coming back here!!!

Nice food but don't go in the summer as there's no air con and the place gets absolutely suffocating!
