Archipelagos

Visited last night for early dinner. Theodoris (spelling?) made us so welcome from the start, and was very helpful and friendly. We had selections from the little meze dishes and they were all delicious! Beetroot, garlic and feta, psomi bread, feta saganaki, meatballs in tomato sauce, lemon & parsley potatoes and the best beef stifado I've had in years were served gradually to us. We struggled to eat it all, as the portions were generous, but it was all so scrumptious we were greedy and snaffled most of it! We even managed a sweet between us as we were having such a great time and didn't want to leave. It really was like being in an authentic Greek taverna on holiday. Food quality was top notch and tasted like proper Greek food, not someone's version of it, and the ambience was great, relaxed and friendly with Greek music playing in the background. Highly recommended.

1st time to this restaurant and loved it. A warm welcome, good service, good food (though moussaka only average ) ....We will be back.

Our son lives in Brighton and he took us there in July and we had a great meal. Thought it was overpriced but when we got the food the size of the portions and quality of the food was great. Would go again and recommend it.

I had dinner 1 week ago with my friends, there were six of us..

The food was fantastic, the prices were normal and the courses were full. Excellent service and management.

A group of 8 went here on Saturday.

Very disappointed with the meal. Didn't think the prices were worth the quality of the food. Nice wine list though and service was good.

Just the food wasn't up to it.

Me and my girlfriend went there yesterday for our 2nd year annivary meal, the weather on the night was bitter cold and raining, but when we got in there the atmosphere was really friendly and warm.

The food was AMAZING! my girlfriend had the Sea Bass and i had the swordfish, the manager brought our food out and then took the sea bas out on a seperate plate and de-headed,finned and de-boned it right there in front of us it was some really good silver service and somthing you dont see too often.

The waitress and manager were very welcoming and friendly nice and smiley and made us feel really welcome.

i dined with my girlfriend at the Archipelagos restaurant last night and it was an aboslutely great experience. lovely Greek food, great customer service, nice atmosphere with traditional Greek music. i wholeheartedly recommend it to everybody.

Thanks to Theo and his staff, I had a great birthday meal. There were 17 of us and he created a well priced and utterly delicious Mezze menu and even gifted some wine. A wonderful host and a fantastic atmosphere. We'll be back.
