Prezzo (Brighton Marina)

We had a completely different experience here in that the food was excellent, the portions generous and the service attentive and helpful. It was earlier in the evening and quite quiet but in our opinion it shines head and shoulders above the other restaurants in the Marina.

This restaurant is absolutely awful. We arrived at 10.00pm on Friday evening, ordered our drinks, antipasta for a shared starter then a pizza and pasta for main. By 10.30pm we were asking where our starter was, they apologised and said that the waitress had forgot to tell the kitchen and it would be right out, 15 minutes later and still no starter. My partner went into the kitchen to find out what was going on as by then all the staff seem to have disappeared. They said our main would be ready in 5 minutes so did we want to cancel the starter and just have our mains which we agreed to, another 5 minutes gone still no food so my partner asked the chef, and he was just starting to make the pizza and said another 15 minutes. We would have walked out by now if we weren't so hungry (we had been driving for 2 hours to get to Brighton).

In the end they brought out our antipasta and then finally our mains.

The only good thing about this was that we didn't have to pay the bill.

I would never ever go back here again.
