Visited for lunch on Friday 18th April. Wonderful old building with lots of low beams and wood burning fires. My wife and I had the two course lunch which included either a glass of house white or a bottle of mineral water.
The choice on the menu was limited as it was a set lunch but the food was excellent in every detail. Could fault neither food nor service. There are lots of small side rooms where you can sit and enjoy pre-drinks or coffee afterwards.
Anyone visiting must try the banoffee pie as it was created at the Hungry Monk.
Hope to visit again in the evening to savour the full a la carte menu.
