Not what it used to be.

When Moments first opened it served proper food, yummy salads, soups and other dishes. Then they started useing canned produce for the salads and the quality of the other food has gone down as well. Now you hardly get your money's worth. I think the last i had there was a very disappointing baked potato with beans.. how can you get something that simple wrong?!

the athmosphere and setup is still great, although after you have been there for a while you will get tired of seeing the same artwork on the walls.

what used to be a really great place to escape and get nutritious wholemeal food is now only worth going to for a hot drink and .. yea, just a hot drink.

We visited in early Aug 2007 for an evening meal. Dreadful location but lovely once you're tucked up inside!

It's right next to Burger King (opposite Boots) so doesn't feel very special but it's great inside and would have suited the Lanes more really.

We met some friends here for a mid-week meal one evening and it suited that occasion perfectly. The menu was very reasonable and I don't think you'd get the same food elsewhere for that price in town. Food was good and it has an interesting drinks menu. Quite small and intimate (go upstairs for a relaxed area with floor cushions etc).

We sat upstairs outside on the decking and it all felt quite chilled out really. I think I might have felt a bit disappointed if I'd gone at say the weekend, really just because it doesn't feel too special (being a cafe by day) and where it's located, but for a mid-week treat it's great. I can imagine (rather than being a romantic place to go with your partner) that's it's a fab place to meet the girls to catch up!
