Bodega d Tapa

I spent a lovely evening in this Tapas Bar. Very lovely atmosphere, excellent food, and even better housewine (very reasonably priced)
All together, I would recommend D Tapa if you are looking for place to feel authentic spanish atmosphere.

Visited this little tapas bar just before Christmas. It's a lovely little place - only four tables inside, so you have to be lucky to get one. I believe they have a terrace at the back which opens in the summer.
The staff are friendly and there's a nice atmosphere. However, if you're after a tapas meal, you'll find the food is very hit and miss. Many of the dishes come straight out of a tin - but that's not noted on the menu. I was unimpressed, for instance, to pay £4 for a plate of five tinned mussels.
The menu is also rather small compared to other tapas places, which would limit your choice if you were making a repeat visit.
Overall, I thought the venue was great but the food -on the whole - disappointing for a dinner meal. One to visit for lunch.

Went here for lunch today, and it was absolutely lovely.
Very charming venue, though not really suitable for a large party due to the size of it.
The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and service was handled by one woman, who was very helpful and provided us with excellent hospitality.
An absolute gem, looking forward to our return visit already!
