The food here was pretty tasty and the service was friendly if a little slow.

However, the food was extremely salty (I was thirsty all night afterwards) and you do feel like you're being ripped off for everything. From the tiny drinks with huge ice cubes, the extra charge for the dips and an extra 60p for 'white meat' if you order chicken! My partner and I had two soft drinks, two starters, two mains and two sides and it came to over £60 - far too much for what it is.

Awful place. I started having doubts when I saw the decor, paper napkins and an extra 60p for Chicken 'breast" on the menu (it was like going back to the nineteen eighties). The guy serving didn't pour the drinks, a minor point but a taster of things to come. The onion bhajees were like some kind of flat, tasteless fritter cooked in old oil. For the main course I had ordered Garlic Chili Chicken Balti and my girlfriend ordered Chicken Balti. My food was bad (greasy, tasteless, and colourless) but my girlfriend's food was worse, the taste of stale oil really coming through without the chili and garlic. We decided at this stage to cut our losses and leave. I explained that the food wasn't nice and that we were prepared to pay for the drinks, the poppadoms and the bhajees but were leaving the main course. The guy asked if we'd like something else, we declined. The guy then pointed to the other six people eating in the restaurant and said 'everyone else is happy with the food'. We were presented with a bill for £18.80, as we had only eaten three poppadoms, two portions of onion bhajee and one large and one small Cobra, I questioned this. The guy on the till then started to become very aggressive and said 'you're starting to p*** me off now mate' . He also said that they had been there for 25 years, it would seem that their quality of food and service is still from this era
