Thalassa

Thalassa is a very pleasant restaurant. Ten of us went for a birthday meal and the food was excellent. It was very quiet when we arrived (7pm) but was busy by the time we left (9pm). The service was slow - however on this occassion we didn't mind as it enabled us to catch up with each other.

All in all great food, not much of a party atmosphere but more of a place for a quiet bite to eat.

We've been going to Thalassa for well over a year now and can recommend it to anyone that appreciates good authentic, freshly cooked Greek food. Service has always been excellent, and if you like to go to a place where you're welcomed warmly every time you visit then this place should be on your list. Can be a little quiet early on in the evenings, but that's about the only negative - never had a bad meal here.

Nice food etc but very dissapointed when they added service charge at the end. I told them to take it off the bill and I didn't pay for it.
