Myself and my girlfriend ate here several weeks ago at the North Street branch. It was our first visit and as the restaurant was part of a chain we weren't sure what to expect.
Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was served quickly and it was good quality. I just wish there had been a bit more! It is also good value for money. We would eat here again and would recommend this restaurant to others.

Tried the new location in the Marina. The clean, modern interior is elegant, and offers fine views of the identical interiors along the boardwalk - no complaints, just standard issue chic.
Service was fine, faster than noted below, though the waiter had obviously been working hard, and really needed a shower and a laundry. We ordered quickly.
Pizzas were fine, generously sized, well done. Wine by the glass selection is too limited but all good. Other options looked good, but I second the need for more veggie options, preferably highlighted on the menu.
Not bad, but not overwhelming. Fair value. A favourite with some Italian friends, I'd still prefer the buzzy, traditional atmosphere of Bella Napoli across the street.

My boyfriend and I have visited here quite a bit over the last couple of months as we had some discount vouchers. However, we went last Friday and had an awful experience in more ways than one. The service was rubbish, it took 40 minutes to get our starters and then a further 20 minutes for our main.

Currently our favourite eatery in Brighton. A cut above most other Italian restaurants. The food is superb. Preferred the décor when it was Quad but it is still pretty good. The pudding menu really creates a choice dilemma. Free filtered tap water. Good wines.

The number of vouchers for Strada in the Brighton press means that we've been eating here quite a lot lately.. although we don't mind at all as the food is great, fresh pizza, (one more veggie choice would be good) yummy risotto, and the affogato (sp?) pudding is wonderful.. nice decor and lovely staff, who are probably sick of the sight of us now!

Have visited a few times and always had very good tasty food and friendly service. (They'll doggy bag happily for you as well) The rosemary and garlic flatbread is a must for munching while perusing the menu. Free bottles of filtered cold water is a customer friendly touch - rather than have to pay a couple of quid for poncy bottled water. The only very minor grumble is that the risotto with lobster could do with visible pieces of lobster in it, and the presentation of what is a yummy dish lets it down. It looks a mess and has no garnish or anything to make it look nice. Will definitely make it a regular place for good Italian food, unlike so many other Italian restaurants in Brighton. Perhaps one day we'll even make it to the sweet - we've seen others enjoying them and they do look great. It's just that we never seem to have the room!

I come to Strada regularly, and have never been let down by the food or the service. The staff treat you like regulars and the food is always second to none. Any friends I have taken there, have always loved it.
Pizzas are incredible, and you have to try the pannetone - not to share!

Food was good - only been here twice, but the service from our waiter was terrible. My friend and I sat down and were having a chat as we browsed the menu, when the waiter came over and abruptly asked us if we had chosen yet. When we asked for more time, he huffily retreated, only to come back over again 5 minutes later to check again. We told him we weren't quite ready yet and he said "well, i'll just wait here until you are then" and proceeded to stand right over our table!!! He only moved away when we glowered at him and told him that this would not make us go faster.
Deciding not to tip was difficult - even though they tell you the service charge is optional, you have to request that it is taken off when you pay and when the same waiter is hovering over you when you are paying it is very difficult to explain that you don't want to tip in case it leads to some God awful confrontation.

Nice simple food, although the risotto needed a bit of work! the service lets the restaurant down with lippy arrogant waitresses, whom had no manners! The pizza bread with pesto is a winner and a must try!

I really like Strada after the 'ordinary' Italian eating places all over Brighton. Great before the theatre and some good special offers provde value for money. Happy to let you eat, see a play and then come back for dessert. Nice to get cold water automatically.I have eaten there at least 5 times in 3 months.
