I have been there for the first time one month ago, without any expectation, and i have benn positively surprised, since i have been 6 times. So it is a simple place, basic, of course it is Japaneese. The food is quite reaserch, and for the price more than correct. The service is perfect for me , discrete and efficient. I recommand it to each sushi fan who do not want to spend 40 pounds for a dinner. With 25£ you can try a variety of courses. Which are all really testy. Hard to be dissapointed.

Fabulous intimate izakaya style restaurant serving small 'tapas' type dishes. It's quite different to your typical Japanese sushi restaurants. Eaten here many times and always enjoyed their dishes which are delivered with a smile. You can choose to sit at the tables or at one of the 2 bars. I prefer the main bar as it allows you a good vantage point to ogle at the staff going about their work. Cheap too.

Very friendly Japanese restaurant, just off Seven Dials. I have eaten here a couple of times, and the food (a mixture of sushi dishes to start, then onto hot noodle & rice mains) is always good.
The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, and the Japanese vodka drinks are very more-ish!
I would recommend it here

A relatively inexpensive Japanese restaurant (for a change). They offer a wide range of the usual favourites including sushi. A friendly and convivial atmosphere. I found the low slung seating a little uncomfortable and the music too loud but I would go back again.
