Hove Tandoori

If you like indian food then this place is fantastic, good atmosphere and service that is second to none and very friendly. I would reccomend this super restaurant in hove to anyone.

We have been there a few times now and every meal so far has been of the highest standard that i've had anywhere, and i've had a few!!

Anyone that likes indian food should definately try this place. Top marks!!

Having been to many an Indian restaurant all around the country I think I can safely say that the overall quality in Brighton & Hove is less than average compared to other areas of Britain.

That said, The Hove Tandoori is very good food and I've found the service to be as good as I would hope for. If you've not tried the Tandoori Prawns then you're really missing out.!

Certainly worth a try.

i dont know why I bother with curry houses ?Had a really bad experience at Hove tandoori last night.My spinach chicken came with extra grit.

the waiters could not understand the problem with my meal

I'm amazed that people find this restaurant anything but superb. Myself and two friends eat in there every week. We order different things on a regular basis, 90% of which are excellent. Whenever the owner is there he always comes over and talks to us and is very friendly, as are the rest of the staff.

We tried a few Hove curry houses before finding this gem - it will take a lot to drag us away.

It's always really busy, even early in the week, they must be doing something right.

I have to say the premises are small, but manners are even smaller. I've never been to a restaurant and seen so may miserable staff. The food was slow, but once it arrived, it was ok ish!! Management rather weak, sending the waiters over to deal with complaints which should have been seen to personally.

I won't recommend anyone to go there, unless they want to be frustrated and hungry for hours.

First time at this Indian restaurant.

Food OK, not great. Service was fast.

Biggest drawback is the fact that the place is tiny and several tables don't leave much elbow room. Furthermore, because it is also a take-a-way,there is an irritating constant stream of customers trekking up and down the single aisle in the middle of the place. The constant ringing of the phone for take-a-way orders was annoying.

I Have Been To Hove Tandoori Many Times And Have Enjoyed The Atmospher And The Food The Service Was Pretty Fast I Do Recomend To All People Looking For A Good Curry ect.

Having lived down here for 5 years Friday was the First time we have eaten our Indian in a restaurent.We did not have a table booked got there at 2045 and stayed for about 2 hours we was not rushed staff were very friendly and we will go back again

We've been planning to try out Hove Tandoori for a while so we were really looking forward to going there. When we arrived we found the staff to be surly. The service was shoddy (we had to ask for a glass of water 4 times before we actually got one) and the food was average. We won't be going there again.
