Curry Mahal

Really quite disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. We tried it out after reading the reviews and it didn't live up to expectation. The food was bland, surroundings were quite heavy and the service was mediocre. Don't order a paneer side dish - there's no paneer in there just a creamy mess with no taste. Do go for the items on the house specials - the Chatga Prawns was lovely. Also didn't rate the rice & chapatis were served in a plastic bag?? ... I doubt we'll be going back to this place!

We visit this restaurant regularly and have tried, by now, almost everything on the menu. The food is delicious and the service excellent. Quite simply our favourite place in Brighton and Hove.

i would like to recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes great food and service. I have been coming to the curry Mahal for the last 8 years and have always enjoyed my curry.They have recently put in beautiful leather chairs and brighten up the place, more happy times for me and my family, Best restaurant in hove.
