The Bengal Palace
your comments review this restaurant
I agree with the previous reviewer - the food at the Bengal Palace is one of the best in Hove. All the dishes taste different unlike some restaurants in Hove (eg. Ashoka). The only minor downside is that the appearance of the restaurant isn't that appealing. To the other reviewer, buffets are rubbish in all Indian restaurants, 'nuff said.

Don't be fooled by the previous review! Although I have never set foot in the Bengal Palace, I can honestly say that their takeaway cuisine is second to none. I have lived in Hove for five years and spent the first 3 years trying to find the perfect Indian takeaway. This has been my regular for the past two years. Give it a go - you won't be disappoined!

I went here a few weeks ago on a Sunday and took advantage of the buffet offer. Wasn't very impressed. The service was really slow only one waiter on duty. It was cold and we had to have the fire on, but every time a new person arrived the fire went to them. Very strange set up. I think the waiter's girlfriend got roped in to help with the drinks but she didn't know how to pour a beer properly! Very disappointed particularly as Curry Mahal across the road is so good.
