Opposition

Drinks took 45 mins and were wrong.

Starters were wrong from what we ordered.

Other peoples orders were brought to us.

Waiters were so stressed.

The pizza was ok,

Pasta dishes and lasagne was bland risoto was foul.

No herbs were used.

Other people were walking out around us although the amazing thing was that the place was packed out. They all looked horrified at their treatment too.

Well we just walked out. Not worth paying for.

This place does not deserve to be in business!!

It took an hour for cold sardines to arrive. It then took a further hour and a half for raw chicken and cold pasta to arrive. That was just my meal on a table of 12 similarly disgruntled hungry people.

The table of eight next to us had the right idea first by walking out! We followed about 20 minutes later.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. With a bit of luck they will be out of business and the world will be a happier place.

Still - it was great company and the chips on the sea front afterwards went down a treat.

Absolute comedy. My starter, a tomato and onion salad, was just that; no dressing. Companion's calamari was tough and fried in very old oil.

Main course was palatable - just. Broken mussels (spent half the meal fishing bit s of shell from my mouth).

Wine was good though. Amateur service, but at least with a smile. Had to wait ages, and saw the chef in the toilets whilst waiting.

Avoid, and have a kebab. It'll be cheaper, faster and most probably taste better.

this was a very nice place to go for a £3 'student meal' (basic pizza, pasta), good value for money, no exceptional treatment, exactly what yould expect for 3 pounds. But i wouldnt take this seriously as a competitive resturant. when i wanted to excuse myself during the meal, ther were no male toilets! there were two ladies!! i discreetly had to engage, hoping no lady walked in during...

i wouldnt go here for a proper night out, id do my homework and go somewhere decent. even though it would be more expensive, id pay for quality

all my frends they want come back there

This is the first review of a restaurant I have ever felt compelled to write. I am too timid to refuse to pay and so I felt it my duty to warn off future victims. I ordered parma ham and melon for starters and penne amatriciana for main with a glass of house red. The melon was way past its best and the ham was dry and stiff. The penne was half cooked and looked like it had been left on the stove for a couple of days to dry up.

This place does not deserve to be in business. It obviously survives on the people who can't fit into the surrounding restaurants.

Sunday 18th November

I can’t believe it- you go out to a restaurant to enjoy your meal!!!... What do you get: Staff (possibly manager) at counter discussing TAKINGS of the restaurant... and how under paid they are!!! My girlfriend and family overheard as we were seated next to the counter, we felt uncomfortable. Doesn’t this restaurant have an office to discuss these matters! It would not have been half as bad if there was good Italian music playing but there was no music at all. Anyway food was great but we would not go back due to bad service and no atmosphere.

Nice place, good food and reasonably priced. The pizza is superb and definitely worth the considerable wait ... and I mean considerable wait. The forty or so minutes for pasta an pizza to arrive at our table seemed excessive as the restaurant was alomost empty. Still, i will give it a second chance.

We have heard so many things about this place so why not try it!!! A waitresss recommended us one of the special`s from the black bord...a huge seabass to share between 2...lovely and very tasty...a good bottle of white wine for the total of £40.oo!!! the service was very good that`s why We`ll go back!!!!
