NEVER EVER GO IN HERE!!!! Shockingly bad service, food and decor. Firstly me and my girlfriend were shunted into a tight gloomy corner by THE WORST waiter I have ever come into contact with, then almost instantaniously commanded to order our food, which did not please me one bit. The food eventually came, cold, and one at a time, i waited another ten minutes after my girlfriends food came for mine. Then to my disbelief my girlfriend found a hair, Yes, A HAIR!!! In her meal. When we complained, the waiter said it wasn't the chefs.... but my girlfriend's own hair!!! I'm sure no one would take this service, neither did we, we walked out never to go there again. The amount of places to go in Brighton is huge. DON'T GO HERE!!!

...It's like the food that your mum makes...simply amazing...

I went here yesterday night and, even if it was very busy, my girlfriend and I have had one of the most excellent mix seafood that you can eat in the town...Very fresh seabass, big portion...too much for one person and for that price...everything served with a delicious mix of fresh vegetables...

The service was excellent as well and, as traditional in a real italian restaurant, the atmosphere was friendly and the staff attentive to all details...

Well done, very well done...

I been to Opposition with my family I eat some pasta spaguetti with meatballs the pasta was excelent flavour I really like it me and my family was very happy with it.

I am sure I will be back there again with my family and my friends.

Possibly the worst restaurant food i have ever eaten! My girlfriend and I both ordered pasta which lacked any taste. The pieces of chicken and seafood added to our dishes were of very poor quality. My tagliatelle dish even contained some spaghetti, thanks. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

The most enthusiastic, friendly and energetic staff in Brighton! When there was no table for a party of seven the waiter lead them through the lanes to a personal favourite bar and promised to run and get them when a table became available, which he did. Excellent simple Italian food, excellent atmosphere, excellent value.

I had grilled sardines to start and a spaghetti dish with black olives garlic and anchovies all for six and a half quid.

Spot on!

Myself & 3 friends ate here last night & have to say it was one of the poorest offerings that I have ever experienced in an resturant in Brighton. The Pasta could have been made by Heinz for a 2 year old child. Tasteless & Bland. The dessert, had obviously only just been thawed & was very poor & the Peroni beer was warm, so much so I had to ask for ice in a glass, which the waitress thought was a joke!! The only joke here was the Food, Drinks & Service...Absolute Rubbish. The only thing this place has in its favour is the location, luckily for them. If this was in Preston St, it would have gone out of business already.

unfortunatly i found my experience at this resturant very dissapointing. I chose to eat pasta which was bland, tasteless and had virtually no meat or sauce in it. We also ordered a pizza which was watery and again, bland! I love Italian food and have enjoyed it many times in italy, so being a family run business i expected a high standard, much to my dissapointment.

Bloody marvellous!! Food was excellent, service was fast, efficient and very freindly. There was a great bustling, no frills atmosphere about the place and it was terrific value - a great place to start the evening

Love it. Love it. Love it!! Warm, cosy, and such a lovely atmosphere. I could have stayed all night.

Having initially decided on going to Pizza Express (next door), we were approached on the street by a member of staff for Opposition (who was doing a great job, by the way) and now I would definitely choose Opposition over Pizza Express. Authentic and a personal touch makes this restuarant more welcoming than my own house.

And not only that, the food was out of this world and amazing value for money.
