We had two very good hamburgers, nice bottle of Rose wine to accompany it and finished of with Tuacas in the bar area. All at a reasonable price

We went to the Kemp Brasserie for a Valentine's Day Dinner. The service was excellent from start to finish. I had Chicken-liver Pate as starter and Kingfish supreme as a main. My partner had tomatoes and mozarella and the musroom risotto. All dishes were very well prepared both on the eye and on the palate. The wine was a Sauvignon Blanc and it went down very well indeed. We did not have Desserts, because we were too full. The bill came to approx. £45.
All in all, I would recommend the Kemp Brasserie as a very good Restaurant and we will most definitely go there again.

Has Kemp Brasserie started to slip? Perhaps we just picked a bad night. We've been before on serveral occassions and had a fantastic meal and a great night.
This time the service was slow and less than attentive. The food was ok but it lacked the sparkle of previous visits. The white wine was warm and at the end of the evening the music was turned up so loud that it emptied the restaurant.
Not an experience that has left us wanting to go back...such a shame!

I went here on saturday and like the comment below was wondering when if ever the menu would change...but it now has! They don't seem to have updated the menu on their website yet but it has changed!
Food as always was good but service was extremely slow even though there was only 3 other tables in there (on a friday night!). Come on guys - we shouldn't have to ask you to take our order/ for more wine/ to chill the wine etc!

Does the menu ever get a full change or is it just me visisting at the end of a menu rotation? Seasonal produce would be nice to, im sorry but since KB started three years ago nothing has really changed, sure its ok to stick with a winning formula, signature dishes etc but as a paying customer i would like to see some exciting NEW FOOD PLEASE! come on your a LOCAL restaurant, fingers crossed, disappointed diner & partner.

I can't beleive I have only just been to this restaurant! We regularly got to The Strand and Hotel du Vin but Kemp Brasserie is easily as good. The menu is varied, well priced and the food very well cooked. The service was faultless and the waiters helpful and knowledgable. I can't wait to go back and try their sunday jazz brunch - the menu looks fab! All in all very good!

Went here a meal with my other half. We had a great time the food & service were excellent.
We go to Brighton alot, and this is a restaurant that I will keep to myself for sometime to come.
