We went for a set lunch menu plus ordered papaya salad a la carte. Well, you get what you paid for. Tom yam soup was like no other - with mayonaise, to suite continental taste, perhaps.
Papaya salad on the other hand, was very tasty and good size.
Live flowers on the tables and perfume available in the lavatories was a pleasant touch.

I'm sorry to say that the food from Thai Orchid is best avoided! Unfortunately this is another Preston Street restaurant that gets away with serving food that just isn't very nice. What a shame.
