Went here last Saturday and can't see what all the fuss is about. Service was far from amazing - waited for ages for our order to be taken and eventually had to ask for service. Food was nothing special either - my pizza was quite dry and impossible to cut with the knife provided and there was very little cheese on it! My friend's pasta was full of flavour but the pasta was slightly undercooked. Disappointed seeing as the reviews on here were so favourable and will not be going back in a hurry.

Amazing atmosphere, service, location and most importantly food. The food came quickly and was delightful. Also the servers were very helpful and cheerful. The restaurant is located in a amazing location, close to the water but right in the centre of a old lanes.

I would say this is a must.

I had a meal out in Zizzi's on Saturday night- what a fantastic meal, the olives appertiser was fantastic and really got us in the mood for the courses that followed, along with fast and very polite service, great wine and excellent food it really made my night- definitely my favourite restaurant in Brighton and I would recommend anyone to try!

I always enjoy eating at Zizzis and the food is superb and its enjoyable watching the chefs prepare the pizza etc. Food is tasty and staff are friendly and helpful. We always enjoy the goat's cheese starter and the pollo della casa and if you do have enough room to squeeze in a dessert then the banana caramel waffle is delightful. Will definitely be coming back to eat in the future as it is good value for money and enjoyable.

Had a meal at Zizzi last night. Hadn't been for a couple of years because a bad valentine's day experience. Gave it another shot because of a half price voucher. Must say it was a big improvement from the last time - food was tasty, service attentive and reasonable prices. Only criticisms are that my pizza was too dry for my liking and the toilets smelt very unpleasant. Would recommend though.

I now remember why we did not come back to Zizzi for a while.

Today we have had a disaster of a meal. We got to the restaurant and noticed that the other 2 tables were eating with their coat on...it was freezing... weasked to do something but hat to move near the pizza oven to keep warm!!! We ordered our pizzas asked to hold off the capers, but the waotressfergot...she was to buzy talking to the other 3 members of staff...no one was interested in the 3 tables they had in...will never go back again....thank you for nothing!!!

I came here on a sunday evening and was really impressed. The service was good, the food was great and for a sunday the atmosphere was spot on. I couldn't fault a thing and will definitely be going back.

Nice evening atmosphere, although I love Madonna, the greatest hits CD could have been changed after the second run through! My parmesan and rocket salad would have been good if I actually had any parmesan on it! The lasagne was fine although it did have that manufactured taste to it. My amaretto and apple desert was lovely although a little on the sweet side. Zizzi's do have a good wine list and the service was superb.

It worked out at £48 for two people for three courses each and a nice bottle of Merlot..good value.

We went here Dec 28th. Excellent pizza. My 8 year old son had spag. bol. - child's portion was enormous! Wife had one of the specials - very nice, large portion. I tried the pizza after watching pizza chef spinning the pizza base. We all pigged out on pizza 'garlic bread' so the others had problems finishing - not me! Good service - would go again
