Went here at the weekend for some lunch whilst out shopping. Service was quick and friendly. Great place to sit outside and watch the world go by while waiting for your food to arrive. When it does it is well cooked and presented and served with a smile! We were very happy with everything so not sure why the other reviewers seem so unhappy? Maybe there is new management or something but I would definately go back .

I have to agree with the review below.

We went there on Monday last week, for a nice bit of lunch.

The service was slow and without any manners. We felt ignored and we even had to get our own pepper and cheese!

The staff were more interested in laying other tables than serving the existing customers. The staff just were very uninterested,

The food was basic, and had taste, but was very bland in presentation.

In short, going to a chain would be so much better., The only thing going for this place is the atmosphere, which is quite lively, but you ignore as soon as you get annoyed with being ignored.

Never in my life have I been to a restaurant, which i could say was particularly bad, but this was terrible.

Me and my boyfriend went there for what was going to be a cheap meal. For main I ordered a tagliatelle with pine nuts in a cream wine sauce, but they burnt all the pine nuts. This over powered the taste of the food.

Secondly my boyfriend ordered penne pasta in a spicy sausage garlic tomato and olive sauce. He came out with a plate of pasta covered with tomato sauce mixed with cream, a few olives and five slices of pepperoni.

To top it off he ordered banoffe pie, which came in the form of a Blancmange. It was jelly like and the banana's was grey and slug like. Also the service was not very good. The waitress took my boyfriends plate away once he was finished but while i was still eating. And she and a guy stood behind the cash desk (scruffily dressed) kept on having conversations over our table. There were no please or thankyou's when paying. How rude! Our bill including service charge came to £32.00, which my boyfriend insisted to pay just so we could get out of their quickly!

Do not go here!! Give me Zizzi's any day of the week!!
