hi there
well what can i say, the food exquisite and it is worth every penny. The welcoming waiters and the friendly atmosphere made me feel so welcome and made the experience all the better. With its original brick pizza oven and its traditional looks, you feel like you are in Italy. I strongly recomend it.

Excellent italian food from a family run restaurant, a real step up from the cheap pizza joints in town. The food is always of a high standard, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere lively and welcoming. The basement can be a bit lifeless if it's not too busy, the ground floor area is much nicer. The parma ham and rocket pizza is a guaranteed great meal.

Oh dear! I've been a big fan of this place but last Saturday night a few of us went there on Pride night. Not sure if I'll be returning. Yes, I know they were busy but last year we had a great meal on Pride night.
This year we were Sat downstairs, even though I'd asked to be upstairs when I booked. The place was full and it was very hot with no air conditioning. Lovely. It took us two and a half hours to have our meal, the service was so slow it was terrible.
And the finally the food was ropey. My bf paid almost £5 for a starter of garlic mushrooms and this was actually a few spoonfuls of tinned mushrooms that hadn't so much as seen any garlic. I had a pasta dish and instead of the giant olives I'd enjoyed a couple of weeks ago in it I had cheapo supermarket ones out of a jar. Maybe not majoy problems but seeing as I'd recommended the place I felt bad.

The accent here is on quality and they deliver it in abundance. Everything is very fresh and you really can taste the difference. The fish is so fresh, I felt I could have been sitting in a beachside restaurant in Italy! Slightly more expensive than other places offering a mainly pizza and pasta menu but well worth it. Service is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is busy without being overbearing in what is a small restaurant. Certainly one of the best Italians in Brighton - I will be back!

I rate this one of the finest restaurants I have ever been to amongst others like The Wolseley. Their scallops in cheese sauce and their veal in marsalla sauce is to die for. I didn't mention that their service is fantastic too. Keep it up!

This was the second time we'd visited the restaurant, and again the food was excellent. I had the scallops in crab & cheese sauce as a starter, and the wild mushroom & prawn risotto to follow. Both were fabulous & great value for money. The house wines not that memorable, and the lighting could have been a bit more subdued, but overall this is one of Brighton best kept secrets.
