Not bad, dopped in around 3 o'clock in on a Saturday afternoon on a hot day in early September. Nice al-fresco setting, service fast, seafood pizza, side salad, glass of red house wine came to £16.44, tipped £2. I shall go there again.

We went here to eat on a very quiet Thursday night. I asked if they used free range eggs in their omelettes and she said she didn't understand she even went to ask the chef and returned to say they were small eggs. I gave up on the dish and we had pizza and a cheese and mushroom toastie with a side order of chips. The mushroom in both our dishes tasted off and the cheese rubbery. The chips were so bad we didn't not eat more than one each they tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The worst place we have eaten in years. The staff were slow and unhelpful and until half way through our meal we were the only ones there!

What a great place this is. We went to Buddies last week during the bank holiday. Weather was fantastic. We decided to go down to Brighton. Had a great time on the beach. We became a bit hungry, so we went along the promenade and found this place called Buddies. We were a bit worried that we will be waiting very long time for drinks and food, but were so surprised that despite a queue, we were seated outside, had drinks within 3 minutes and the food arrived within 10 minutes. I ordered fish and chips and my friends had other things. The food was very good and we all thought it was cheaper than London. If you go to Brighton you must visit Buddies.

What an absolute disgrace, the only reason they could possibly survive is the drunken masses at 3am who only go there because of the location. A tired, dirty, bad attitude pit of a place that should have been shut down years ago.
Do yourself a very big favour and avoid this dump. Rude staff that hardly speak English, food not even worthy of a mention and a boss who cant be bothered when you complain. Since when did a complaint involve bringing security staff to the table! I assume they can do that because they make you pay in advance, drunk or sober...what a complete joke.
