The Brasserie Fish & Grill

Food was greasy and almost inedible, staff took an instant dislike to us because of the clothes we were wearing (jeans)!! We chose the set menu they advertise yet feel we were looked down on for choosing this. We live in the Marina and like to support local businesses but we will not be returning to the brasserie.

Food not good. Terrible atmosphere because of surly staff. My advice, take your hard-earned money elsewhere.

Had Groupon tokens for a party of 8. Two cancelled at the last minute, so it ended up as a party of 6. I inadvertantly handed over Groupon tokens for 8 and they refused to return my property for the un-used Groupon token. I have spoken to the waiters at the restaurant several times and they (in their pidgeon English) have refused me and not allowed me contact with the head chef or supervisor. Groupon have refunded me for the ticket that is not used by me. Groupon were fantastic.

Meal: Wine good, (my choice), food was not good and they cooked the steaks completely wrong. The well done was running with blood and the medium rare one was well done. Could not exchange the steaks at the table as the sauces would be wrong

Waiters: English not good and one waiter knew no English at all. We all felt awkward and they spoke Italian to each other in hushed tones whilst keeping one eye on the only occupied table, (us).

The place looks really good from the outside. Do not go inside. Hold on to your money.

Our entire party of six will never eat there again. It is a cafe.

The food is really good i've been several times in large parties and as a couple always enjoying every meal but it can be a bit expensive, the service is fair from the waiters that were trained by Mrs Overall (Soup!!!!) Overall this is one of the best restaurants in the Marina. I would recommend this lovely restaurant to others and will certainly keep going back.
