|I have passed this place so many times, yet I have never been in for a meal - until now!
What can I say? Really yummy food! Nicely decorated! Nice and cosy! Would be a nice place to go for a first date!
I can't believe I have passed this place so many times without going in!

Well, to be perfectly honest, I wasnt impressed really.
MINUSES
- complete lack of atmosphere (this "modern design"), modern music on radio
Everithing was clean though...
- SHOCK! They dont do tea? What? In English-Indian restaurant? Unbelieavable.
So I had rather nice cofee instead and it was reffiled 4x times by friendly waiter.
- My prawn curry was quite bland. It was allright but I have had better curry I can tell ya.
PLUSES:
-frienldly staff
- after all, food wasnt that bad.
CONCLUSION:
Yep, I would recommend you this restaurant - IF YOU LIVE CLOSE BY IT.

Saffron's is an excellent hide away away from the main streets of Brighton
Restaurant is clean and hygienic and tastefully decorated
food is hot ,tasty and plentiful
Beer is cold. Cobra on tap. kingfisher in the bottle
Chefs will do up a special dish if asked. If not sitting down then
I also recommend the take away menu, at the time of writing 12 pounds will give you the set meal for one which easily feeds two persons and which the staff are willing to adapt to suit your taste(ie you can replace a dish for another of the same price or more if you are willing to pay the difference) and 20 something pounds gives you the set meal for two (which easily feeds 3)
there is also a students menu on weekdays which you should ask for if you have a valid student card

Saffrons is an excellent place for a good quality curry. Clean, friendly, good food, not to expensive. Its always a bit quiet as Coombe Terrace on Lewes Road is not the usual place to go for dinner! However, dont let this put you off. Go, try and be pleasantly surprised!
