Went here on Sunday and had a mixed experience. Great service and nice touches like free popadooms (sp) whilst looking at menu. My chicken dish was v nice (with lemon, ginger, garlic and yoghurt) but rest of food rather bland. The menu says they use fresh herbs but no sign of them.
Also the decor here is rubbish. The place has been here for year, with various names, and it's always looked like it's been done up on the cheap.

This place is fantastic. The food is very authentic and always delicious. The decor's a bit dodgy but you won't notice once your curry arrives! Defo the best curry house in Brighton.

Excellent food at reasonable prices for large portions. The restaurant itself is bright and modern and the staff friendly and professional. I liked the way the waiter encouraged us to try something completely different from our what would have been our normal choice. Parking a bit of a problem but plenty of space behind New England House.
