hi,
brighton become quite poor with great place to eat, to enjoy a great time with your friend, or with Granny when you need to celebrate her 80th birthday...
i have decide to find a venue, able to accomodate a large group - we were about 65... Gi-Gi, who is the manager for long time, was a star!!! he made a day for my granny and rest of the familiy. the chef has suprised us with his menu and originality of products... that was stunning!!! have you check out the view... running a small or big group did not scared them at all, and that was great and service as friendly as efficient... it was great value, and georgeous taste... many thanks... it has been a long time i havent find a good food and great delivery... good luck and see ya at the 81th birthday then ! Myself and my wife were looking for a new place to eat rather than following the well trodden paths to seven dials, the saint etc. Were going to plump for the ebony rooms but reviews on this site put as off. So we went to cafe paradiso instead.
I thought this place was good. Menu is small in range but what they do, they do very well, the tuna was excellent, decent portion and came with a side order of your choice. Good atmosphere, not too crowded, decent selection of wine. Service was very attentive, error on the bill but this appeared to be an honest mistake.Slightly bizarre to highlight the coffee I know, but it really is excellent. Will be going again.

I don't understand the last review. I've eaten here lots of times and have found both the food and the staff to be excellent. I love the quirky decor (though the mannekin waiter as you walk in can be a bit disconcerting!) We've tried many of the dishes and they've always been tasty, perfectly presented and as described. They do a mean set menu deal and the rest of the menu is fabulous. The waiters are attentive and friendly and the view over the marina is beautiful. If I have any criticisms it's that sometimes you have enough food on your plate not to need the side orders, but you don't always know that when you order. That being said, the sides are wonderfully done and plenty for two people. It's not the cheapest place, but it's well worth a visit and it's not as expensive as some other places that don't deserve their price tags. Enjoy!
